Executive Summary

The Kitten Shop will have many different products and services that you wish you had at your current pet store. Kitten Shop is going to sell items for kittens/cats. Health items, food, collars, toys, and etc. We will also be available for you to call during our hours for any help that you need with cats. For example we will give cats their shots, along with declawing, and neutering. Along with always being here if a stray cat is found, or if you can’t handle your cat/kittens anymore. We will have a kitten daycare which is where you can send your new kittens during the day to take care of the kittens, along with a boarding area for your cats in case you are gone for a long period of time. All of our items are very cheap and affordable. We will always be here if you need us.
My team and I are fit to run this business because we have always been a loving family of animals. I personally know that I would do anything so save animals and take care of them. I would love to do things with cats especially because they can be so loving. I have the skills to run this business because I am organized and love to spend time with my family who is also very easy to get along with. I am very certain that my family and I would take care of this company very well and are all extremely excited to have a business dealing with animals.
Our competitors are going to be difficult to compete with. I think once we get up and started things are going to be really neat and go really smoothly. Once we get the word out about the kitten shop things should go well and I think we will easily get the customers we need. It will also be nice for other customers when they bring in their animals they won’t have to worry about any other animals being there that they might be allergic to because we are just a kitten shop. We also have lower prices rather than having more expensive things like other pet stores. What is best about it, the Kitten Shop has the same quality of items, just for a lower price. We will hang posters, put up our website, have people talking right away.
Our target would mainly be adults from the ages 18-64. Once we have all our customers it will be easy to get everyone we need here. Since it is a family business we won’t have to pay other people as much. I think it will flow really nicely and we will break even for the most part and not too much over. This is a new business and hopefully will be started by next year. The next step for the business would start make the advertising and also find the building I would want the place to start.
